The Power of Community

What could be more fun than a BBQ festival and competition that raises money for local charities? When you figure it out, let us know. In the meantime we’ll be right here helping the team at Pensacola Eggfest in their mission to use food and fun to impact our community. Lisa and Doug serve on the board of this event and have helped raise over $250,000 for local charities.

The RIDH team has strategically planned and executed the marketing of this event since its inception. Building a community and fostering relationships is about more than money. The revenue from Egg Fest pays for the event and in 2018 left a balance of $45,000 that was given to local charities.  From billboards, targeted social media placement on FB and Instagram, geographically strategic direct mail campaigns, and promotional videos that encourage viewers to get involved, this is an event that we work on 52 weeks a year.  But we don’t mind one bit.
